CARLO MARIA PARAZZOLI
Carlo Maria Parazzoli is first violin of the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia. He graduated with honors at the Conservatory of Milan. Later he obtained "Premier Prix de Virtuositè" at the Superior Conservatory of Geneva. As first violin soloist of the Stradivari Orchestra, founded and directed by Daniele Gatti, he has played for the most important Italian and European concert seasons. From 1990 to 1996 he was first violin of the "G.Chigi" Quartet, the official group of the Accademia Chigiana in Siena. He has performed as a soloist with several Italian orchestras such as Angelicum and Pomeriggi Musicali in Milan, Sanremo Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Orchestra of Mantua, Orchestra of the International Festival of Brescia and Bergamo. He has collaborated as coincertmeister with the Orchestra Pomeriggi Musicali and Orchestra RAI in Milan, Orchestra Haydn in Bolzano, Teatro Comunale in Bologna, Teatro Comunale in Florence, Orchestra of Teatro alla Scala and Orchestra Filarmonica della Scala. In 2006 he performed the Double Concerto by Brahms with the Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia conducted by Kent Nagano. As soloist he has performed with great musicians such as Sawallisch, Lonquich, Chung, Pappano, Galliano, Kavakos, Lang Lang.
